Selected Perennials for Partial to Full Shade Conditions

We have a continuing interest in 'woodland varieties'.  Some of these perennials can be tricky - or at least long-term - germinators, but the successful propagation can be very rewarding.  No longer should the shaded site be viewed as undesirable or problematic.  It may be less showy, but there are many perennials available that, in combination, will provide bloom and foliar interest throughout the growing season.
